Positive: The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, and only 450 meters from the beach and in a quiet and beautiful area. There are two nice terraces (also equipped with a little grill which we didn't use but is normally welcome) , the beds are comfortable, and there’s plenty of storage space. The air conditioning works well, and there's free parking on-site. The location is also convenient, with a supermarket nearby. However, keep in mind that there are a few steps inside the apartment, which wasn’t a problem for us but could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. A positive aspect was that when we found the pillows in the apartment to be too flat, we asked for additional ones and they were provided to us immediately and without any problem.
Negative: Although it is clearly stated on booking.com that there is no Wi-Fi service, it would be appreciated. While the kitchen is well equipped with all necessary dishes, crockery, a stovetop espresso maker, and a microwave (which we didn’t use), it lacks some very basic equipment for a vacation stay, such as a toaster, kettle, and also little essentials typically provided in vacation apartments, like a sponge for washing dishes and a cloth for drying them (specially if a dishwasher is not available) , Also an oven is not provided. For us it was not a problem but could be missed. Also there was only one roll of toilet paper for 5 people. Additionally and that was the big surprise, towels (both hand and shower) are not included! If you don’t bring your own towels, it’s an extra €10 per person – in our case, €50 extra. The lack of this basic element in a vacation rental was not informed at the time of the reservation in Booking.com site. This important detail only came up after the reservation was confirmed and paid. It's not just about the hidden extra cost; it's also the inconvenience of additional arrangements that make the check-in less comfortable. Another inconvenience is that the key collection, along with the linens and towels, is 1.2 km away from the property, which makes the check-in process little more slow. You also have to transport all the bed linens and towels yourself, which was not a big deal for us, but could be a problem if your car is fully loaded. The check-out process is similarly inconvenient, as you need to return the keys to the office by 10:00 am, making the check-out less comfortable and taking time away from your already early check-out. Also the check-in is only from 4:00 pm, which is a bit later than usual check times, and given that you need to pick up keys and linens, transport them upstairs to the flat ( the attic in our case ) plus make the beds, etc.
